Repressed-Recovered Memories

What do you say to someone who can recite a conversation, word-for-word, from a repressed memory? Who do you believe, the alcoholic or the child? How do you explain the memory; as a lie your mind has created and convinced itself to believe?

I take great offense to those who deny the repressed-recovered memories theory. How can you say a memory was invented when one can go into detail about it, and still be so affected by it?

Hey, I guess we have different interpretations of Ethiopian-esque goods.... The purse for sure has an asian motif, not to mention it was made in China... and the 'milk carton' vase? Where is the theme there? and as for the beads... they seem to be of a retro exaggeration... but we are all entitled to our own opinions.... One thing's for sure, when I'm in Ethiopia I am planning on purchasing real "ETHIOPIAN_ESQUE" goods!!!! I'm very excited!!! Any requests? african jewelry? by the way- I like your blog title picture, its pretty darn cool. :)

ah, the skirts... don't get me wrong I would buy Ethiopian skirts if I could wear pants while shopping... but pants for women is culturally despised. so as you can see, I must find skirts here.... :)
